Dawn A. Silberstein has been working as special counsel for Wolkin Curran since November 2003. She concentrates primarily on insurance coverage litigation. Prior to joining Wolkin Curran, Ms. Silberstein practiced construction defect litigation for nearly 10 years, she served as carrier appointed defense counsel for a year and before that as plaintiff's counsel representing numerous homeowners associations.

Ms. Silberstein graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Honors in her Major, Phi Beta Kappa and a College Service Award. After working as a counselor and learning specialist, Ms. Silberstein went back to school and obtained her J.D. from Hastings College of the Law in 1993.
