Mr. Welch has notably represented surety clients to resolve payment bond claims, performance bond claims, subdivision bond claims and indemnity actions. Mr. Welch has worked toward the recovery of millions of dollars for clients. Mr. Welch takes pride in his representation of insurance clients in insurance coverage defense, declaratory relief actions and bad faith defense. Mr. Welch represents construction clients in intricate construction defense litigation including on large multi-unit projects.
Mr. Welch received his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2004. At Hastings College of the Law, Mr. Welch directed the Hastings Chapter of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Mr. Welch also was the President of the Hastings Tax Law Society and was on the editorial staff of the Constitutional Law Quarterly Journal, the oldest Constitutional Law Journal in the United States.
Besides the California State Bar, Mr. Welch is admitted to all U.S. District Courts of California and California Bankruptcy Courts.
